Tours of Ringwood Manor
Q: When is the house open for tours?
A: Ringwood Manor is open Wednesday through Sunday, year round, with
tours every hour from 10am to 3pm, with the exception of the noon hour,
when the house is closed for lunch. The Manor House is closed on all national
holidays, EXCEPT Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, and when
a holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday, is closed the Wednesday following.
We advise those interested in general tours to call ahead to confirm that
the Manor House is open and to confirm tour times for that day, 973-962-7031
ext. 0.
Q: How much is it to go on a tour?
A: Tours of the Ringwood Manor House Museum are free! Please note, from
Memorial Day through Labor Day there is a $5 per car parking fee to enter
the park.
Q: When are the grounds open for tours?
A: The grounds of Ringwood Manor are open seven days a week, year-round,
from dawn to dusk, except Christmas and New Year's Days. The Morristown/West
Point Road runs southwest of the Manor and passes a historic graveyard.
There are hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. Guides to these trails

Q: Are Special Group Tours Possible?

Q: Can I take photographs inside the Manor House?
A: No, the general public is not permitted to photograph or videotape
the interior of the house. There are postcards available in the gift shop
which show each interior room of the home.
Additionally, scientific data recorders and other electronic equipment
are not permitted to be used in the Manor House on tours, and can be confiscated
at the tour guideās discretion.
Researchers can, however, obtain special permission by completing a Request
to Photograph and having it approved.
Q: Are weddings allowed at Ringwood Manor?
Since Ringwood Manor is a historical landmark, weddings are not permitted
inside the manor. However, you can have a ceremony outside. For more information,
